This semi-detached holiday cottage, attached to the owner’s home, is situated in a rural setting, above the historic town of Linlithgow, with views towards the Forth Bridge from the garden. It is centrally placed to explore Edinburgh or Glasgow, 20 and 30 minutes by train, the Borders, or Perthshire and Fife. Enjoy walks in Beecraigs Country Park, 1 mile, the Pentland Hills or visit Linlithgow Palace, Hopetoun House or House of the Binns. Golf, 2 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.

1st comment: The cottage was small but perfectly suited for two people. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well fitted out. It was spotlesly clean. We had a warm welcome from our landlady. The location, just outside Linlithgow, had fabulous views down to the Forth, and proved very convenient for road and rail connections. We look forward to our next visit. June 2012.
2nd comment: This property is ideal for couples looking for a base to explore Scotland with its close proximity to Linlithgow Station that has links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. There are many amenities nearby including a large shopping centre just down the road in Livingston. April 2012.
