Super interesting old mill with lovely cloth and clothes at excellent prices. The real draw are the unique machines including the only extant version of a Spuffing Billy and working version of the legendary Spinning Jenny
Aside from its charm and the beauty of their cloth and tweeds which have been woven for many films including Braveheart, the upstairs rooms and no longer in use are examples of unique machines from the beginning of the industrial revolution by Billy Arkwright.
