  • Sanaigmore Bay Beach

Beautiful beach on the North West of Islay with white sand.

The car can be parked next to the Exmouth Memorial Cairn at Sanaigmore road end. The cairn was erected in memory of the 241 victims of the Exmouth disaster. From here a little walk over grass-lands brings you to this lovely bay, watch out though for the Bulls.

Since the bay faces north it can be more sheltered compared to the other bays, due to Islay's prevailing southwesterly winds.

You can get coffee at Outback Art Gallery on weekends
