The pretty little village of Poolewe is 1/2 a mile away and has a shop, coffee house, hotels and a swimming pool. Just outside the village, the famous Inverewe Gardens offer an amazing oasis of tropical plants and trees, well worth a visit. The close proximity to the Gulf Stream produces sub tropical temperatures and a mild climate for the area. Outdoor activities include coastal and hill walking, climbing, angling and sailing with golf, shopping and leisure facilities in Gairloch 5 miles away.
