th comment: Cosy, well furnished property. Fantastic for a first family holiday with Baby. The open fire was delightful to enjoy once the wee one was in bed. Sept 2009.
th comment: Very nicely laid out cottage - lovely bedrooms but the sitting room is a little small. Wonderful garden with slide and swing for kids. However, there was no lock on the garden gate leading onto the main road. Far from ideal! 10 minutes drive to the lovely beach of Sandyhills and within touching distance of numerous child-centred options. July 2009.
th comment: I feel that it exceeded the grading given on the website. April 2009.
th comment: Superb views from balcony both up and down the Tyne. May 2008.
th Comment Perfect location for children, lots to do locally, great beaches and walks. good wildlife on estuary. Lots of places to eat. Rockcliffe, Kippford and Dalbeattie forest were favourites. Dalbeattie also has all you need. Cottage has everything and garden especially wonderful for children and BBQ’s. It’s very clean, so glad there’s been no dogs. Sept 2007.
