Sonas is a lovely semi-detached cottage with an un prepossessing exterior and a very well considered interior. The property is situated in the village of Portessie just off the coastal road and just one mile from Buckie in one direction and Findochty in the other on the Moray Firth coast.
The cottage can sleep five people in one double bedroom and one family room with one double bed and one single together with a family shower room. Also in the cottage is a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with woodburner. Outside there is roadside parking and a seating area. Sonas is a charming fisherman's cottage and ideal for exploring this part of the country.

We particularly liked the lovely welcome we got from the owner on our arrival. The location was great for exploring the Moray Coast in a car. The décor was fresh; with finishing touches like themed ornaments, kitchen towels, table mats, outside table and chairs etc. There was plenty of storage space for unpacking! I could go on and on, but I'm sure you can see how impressed we were with Sonas Cottage.
