Armadale Castle Gardens & Museum of the Isles is set amidst breathtaking milieu within the Peninsula of the Isle of Skye.

The ruins of Armadale Castle is set amidst a sprawling Woodland garden,dating back to the 17th century with lawns and terraced walks. The Nature Trails set around the gardens are great options to enjoy the panoramic views over the Sound of Sleat and the abundance of wildlife in this area.

Weddings and otherivil and Religious Ceremonies are becoming very popular at Armadale.

The Museum of the Isles, opened in March 2003 has won acclaim from the public and a Highly Commended award from the Museum of the Year Awards. You can browse through the history of the Highlands dating back to over a thousand yearsin this museum. The Library and Study Centre within the Museum has a collection of over 60,000 books and documents with a Geanealogy Facility.

The Stables Restaurant and Gift Shop located in the Stables Building, originally built in 1820 by the Architect James Gillespie Graham, based on the same Gothic lines as he used when designing Armadale Castle is another attraction. The Restaurant offers homecooking all day and the Gift Shop offers a quality shopping experience.
