Customer Reviews of Finlaysons Cottage, Loch Melfort - Sleeps 4

st comment: A very attractive cottage with great views. It doesn’t have a dishwasher or its own washer but we found that its other attractions more than made up for this. The owners have done it out beautifully; and as well as looking good it was very comfortable. Great for lovers of the countryside and wildlife and we loved the boat. We would recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet in a beautiful spot. June 2012.

nd comment: Absolutely gorgeous location, very remote with a stunning view. Really cute bungalow. No central heating but the bedding and electric blanket were top quality. You pay for the electricity you use on the heaters and hot water. The open fire was lovely but we needed to chop the logs smaller into kindling. Take extra towels and toilet rolls tho as one of each wasn’t enough for us! Oct 2011.

rd comment: This is a fantastic location. There are lovely walks nearby and the cottage has a beautiful garden looking out over the sea. It feels isolated although there are other cottages along the lane. If you are looking to get away from it all this is ideal. Aug 2011.

th comment: Great location and views. Aug 2010.

th comment: Very spacious property, high standard of decoration, beautiful location. Aug 2010.

th comment: Very roomy cottage - much more spacious than we expected. Views front (to the loch) and back (to the hills). Peaceful location. June 2010.

th comment: Very clean and fresh. Nice traditional style, not too modern. April 2010.

th comment: Beautiful situation. Well-appointed cottage. Very comfortable. Spacious and a pleasure to stay in. Tea and biscuits laid on for our arrival. We felt very welcome. Garden area in front very useful for eating out and playing with 2 year old. Outstanding views and lovely walks. April 2010.

th comment: We have a wonderful week in our cottage, we were extremely lucky with the weather which enhanced the views and walks. It was a perfect isolated setting on Loch Melfort and I cannot recommend it highly enough. May 2008.
