Customer Reviews of Old School Tomachlaggan, Cairngorms - Sleeps 3-4

st comment: Could not be faulted. Very well equipped, warm and cosy. Even though the owners were in close proximity it was never a problem. The welcome on arrival was warm and everything pointed out to make the stay enjoyable. June 2012.

nd comment: Excellent standard, location and owners. Would book again. May 2012.

rd comment: A very comfortable cottage with friendly owners living next door so although it is right in the country we did not feel isolated. The area around was ideal for walking with walks at every level. There is no need to drive miles to find things to do but probably more of a cottage for the active person. Granton on Spey had small supermarkets and a petrol station and Tomintoul some small shops. The local people were all friendly and helpful. One of the nicest cottages we have stayed in with all needs anticipated. April 2012.

th comment: Absolutely brilliant location, wonderful scenery, comfortable accommodation, helpful hosts. We recommend walks around Tomintoul, Grantown-on-Spey, Revack (where they also have a splendid restaurant). Jan 2012.

th comment: Lovely and quiet but with plenty to see and do. Great to relax in and the owners are friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. Oct 2011.

th comment: The Old School was beautiful. The fixtures and fittings were of excellent quality, the log burner was especially welcome when the night was a bit chilly. The leaflets and books on the area provided in the cottage were exceptional at showing the best the area had to offer. Sept 2011.

th comment: A home from home with lots of little extra touches. The house was well maintained and clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable holiday. The location was superb and would recommend. Aug 2011.

th comment: We were comfortable with two preschoolers. The kitchen was well stocked, with the necessary equipment. The bookshelves were loaded with great books. Easy parking. Beautiful Ponds and a great green space to play. Ideal. July 2011.

th comment: This cottage is in a beautiful location. It is centrally located to visit the Cairngorm Mountains. There is plenty to see and do in the area and shopping is within easy reach of this cottage, either at Grantown-on-Spey or Aviemore. June 2011.

th comment: Excellent location and hosts, a really welcoming place to relax and enjoy a break - could recommend to anyone. June 2011.
