Pitblado

The lands of Pitblado lie in the parish of Cupar in Fife. Peter Pitblado of that Ilk was a juror on an inquest into lands of Hough and Pitconnochie in Fife in 1505. Alexander Pitblado of that Ilk is also mentioned in a charter of 1563. The arms of a silver boar’s head on a green field are clearly ancient, but although they are noted by Nisbet, they have never been recorded in the Lyon register.
