For those on a tight budget, this is our selection of budget holiday homes and cottages in Scotland. Okay, so it is all relative as price so often depends on extra criteria which matter, such as location, facilities and age. We always advise that you think carefully about going budget for a cottage that is going to be your home for a week and where all the little touches make a lot of difference to your holiday. Also, this will be an important holiday and spending a few pounds more per day can make a lot of difference. Think about dates as well. Self Catering properties in the high season are expensive regardless - making hay, etc. If you are stretched, but really want a lovely holiday in Scotland, the rather than go cheap or budget, change your dates to out of season and then you will be the ones making hay!
