Customer Reviews of Forget Me Not, Dalmellington, sleeps 2/4

st comment: Location of property lovely and secluded - however access road is a very bumpy (and muddy if raining) track. Also no internet or mobile signal (although good if you want total peace and quiet). Cottage itself beautiful! March 2012.

nd comment: We really enjoyed this property, the layout was perfect and we will be returning next year. The weather was a bit iffy at first, but with so much to see and do we loved it. We went out horse riding on a lovely sunny day round the estate, my horse was magic. Thats his name, he loved his grub. The staff are so helpful. It was brill. The road from the manor house up to the cottage is a bit pot holed, but thats all. And do go up Ness Glen after a heavy rainfall, FANTASTIC. Anybody that dosent like this place should stay at home. Oct 2011.

rd comment: Beautiful cottage, peaceful, lots of walks. Loch Doon worth a visit. Would appreciate some gravel near parking area, car needed a good clean inside and out due to mud in parking area. Apart from that everything was perfect. Oct 2011.

th comment: A true haven of peace and quiet. Aug 2011.

th comment: This is a most exceptional property (along with its sister cottage on the estate). The level of comfort, fittings and overall ambience of the cottage is wonderful. Our dogs couldn’t fault it, and were particularly impressed by the location! June 2011.

th comment: Lovely cottage located within a very beautiful estate, very well equipped and comfortable accommodation. Excellent facilities within the estate for horse owners to bring their own horses on holiday with them, excellent hacking and stable accommodation. April 2011.

th comment: Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. March 2011.

th comment: If you want somewhere that offers superb peace and quiet, though is still in reach of everything you could possibly need then this is the place. Cottage is outstanding, superbly clean and the staff around the estate very helpful and pleasent, as too the locals that we encountered. Will certainly return with family and rent both cottages on the estate. Jan 2011.

th comment: High standard of furnishings & fixtures in keeping with the property. All home comforts catered for. Dec 2010.

th comment: Wonderful large rooms, lovely kitchen, well equipped. Nov 2010.

th Comment This property is the idea place to get away from everything... The property has everyone you need... you can see how much money has gone into this. Nov 2010.

th Comment A beautiful, nicely decorated property in a peaceful setting with the bonus of being able to take dogs there. Oct 2010.

th Comment The setting is beautifully in the forest and the house looks like it’s right coming out of a fairy tale, except for the modern equipment. Aug 2010.

th Comment A beautiful cottage, very spacious, very good decoration and furnishings, a welcome book with cottage information and walks etc would have been really helpful. June 2010.

th Comment Beautiful cottage, even nicer than the pictures on web site! May 2010.

th Comment For anyone wanting a peaceful location (no mobile phone signal!) and with lots of walks from the cottage (no need to drive for miles) this is the perfect place. We would definitely book it again - we stayed at Find Me Out last year. Just as an aside - wish the estate owners would sort out the potholes on the track leading to the cottages from the main house. As the estate was once owned by a Mr McAdam (of Tarmac fame) I’m sure he would turn in his grave with this one! May 2010.

th Comment Excellent cottage very warm and friendly feeling a perfect location to relax and get away from modern life. Tesco’s do deliver it was great (please put on deliver note holiday cottages). April 2010.

th Comment Excellent, warm, cosy yet modern, spacious cottage full of character and in an idyllic location with walking available from doorstep. April 2010.

th Comment Beautiful cottage and setting, excellent equipment and facilities in the cottage and lovely walks from the door. April 2010.

th Comment Great place to go to get away from everything. No phone coverage in the cottage. Only noise is the stream running next to the cottage. March 2010.
