Just 40 minutes from Dundee and Aberdeen, the village is ideally placed for touring the region and within easy reach of the coastal towns of Montrose, Arbroath and Carnoustie, all with fabulous sandy beaches. Why not take a trip inland to Drumtochty Glen, an area of stunning beauty, where guests can enjoy forest walks and the haven of wildlife. Alternatively, take a very scenic drive over Cairn o’Mount, which takes you to Royal Deeside with its Victorian Heritage Trail. On route, Fettercairn Distillery is well worth a visit for some of its amber nectar. Beach 9 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.
