Customer Reviews of The Old Mill in Staffin - Sleeps 4

The accommodation was of a very good standard. It was well located, just what we needed; a change of scenery and tranquillity with all the comfort inside the property. The WiFi connection in the property was very good - very important feature for teenagers. It was very pleasant to wake up to the sound of sheep, lambs and running water from the burn.

The cottage is incredibly comfortable and felt like home from the outset. We loved the views and the proximity to such fabulous landscape. The sound of the river running by was a wonderful backdrop. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We found there was plenty of wood for the fireplace and the wood stove worked just fine, the beds were quite comfortable and we liked the view from the living room. We also enjoyed the river running next to the house and it was very quiet.

The cottage was a joy, home from home. Very comfortable and cosy. The cottage was in a lovely location - a short walk from the sea, next to a river and in a peaceful rural location with a view of the mountains behind.
Mrs Degens,

Had a perfect stay, it was a real home from home. There were the most magnificent views of the mountains from the windows. The owners were happy to help with lots of information regarding things to do on the island.

This cottage surpassed our expectations. The pictures do it no justice. The village of Staffin is a perfect base. I would usually not return to the same place, but this cottage is perfect, so I will definitely try to stay again
