Customer Review

My husband and I stayed at the Sherbrooke last September during our 2 week trip to Scotland. It was our favourite place to stay of everywhere. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and very considerate. The food was excellent and the breakfasts huge. The bed was really comfortable and although the time of year was a bit rainy and chilly, there were extra heaters in the room. A big bonus is that it is a two minute walk to a train platform and it only takes about 10 minutes to get to Queensstreet Station in downtown Glasgow. If you plan on utilising the train this is a big bonus. As well the view at the Sherbrooke is beautiful and is situated in a really nice neighbourhood. I had one day were I was feeling ill, the staff was very solicitous and sent up a huge pot of tea with biscuits and cookies. My husband and I are planning on returning to Scotland at the end of April and have planned to stay the entire time at the Sherbrooke.
The only negative I can say is that our wakeup call on our last morning did not come in but we were still woken up as the sent up a very early breakfast (6:15 am) as we had to catch an early flight.
