Port Logan
The lovely harbour village of Port Logan is where most of the BBC TV series 2000 Acres of Sky was filmed.
This quiet area of Wigtownshire has many hidden gems including Logan Botanic Gardens, one of the finest gardens in the area. The nearby town of Stranraer has excellent shops and day trips to Ireland can be taken from Cairnryan.
