Customer Reviews of Eagle's Nest, nr Inverness - Sleeps 2

st comment: This cottage is perfect for a ’get away from the rat-race’ break being in a gorgeous secluded area, whilst still only being a 10 min drive from Inverness and within each reach of all the tourist attractions. The owners are lovely and even provide fresh eggs from the resident hens! Beautiful walks are right on your doorstep literally, as you get straight on to Ord Hill from a gate at the rear of the cottage. The cottage is cosy and very clean and provides all the basics you need. Inverness has a fantastic selection of restaurants and good shopping, and there are various craft workshops etc in the outlying areas. We were disappointed that we didn’t see any dolphins at Chanonry Point where we had usually been lucky, but on a visit to Fort George they made an appearance - that was the icing on the cake for my husband’s birthday! I can certainly recommend Eagle’s Nest - we certainly will return! June 2012.

nd comment: Eagles Nest is a very cosy cottage, well equipped and in a great location - rural but very close to Inverness. Ideal for exploring and lovely to come back to after sightseeing. The hosts are very friendly, eggs from the chickens in the grounds a nice touch to welcome visitors. A vast number of brochures and guides available in the cottage. Can walk onto Ord Hill directly from the cottage garden. May 2012.

rd comment: Very enjoyable stay in a well located property. It was ideal for touring the Highlands. Sept 2011.

th comment: Ideal location, (as long as you have a car). Friendly hosts, nice peaceful setting and located just over the bridge from Inverness. April 2011.

th comment: Eagles Nest is set in beautiful surroundings - peaceful and tranquil, but within easy reach of the city of Inverness. Perfect for rest, country walks and relaxation. March 2011.

th comment: Everything was lovely, especially the host who resided on the site. Oct 2010.

th comment: Everything you needed was in the cottage. Quiet location, it gives you a peaceful feeling. Very good place to relax after a year hard work. Sep 2010.

th comment: Idyllic place to chill out or relax, the chickens running around the garden really added to the holiday, even taking bread from our hands. But also an ideal situation to explore the Black Isle and Mory coastline. Aug 2010.
