This attractive single storey cottage is situated in the pretty village of Munlochy, close to the shores of the Moray Firth. The holiday property provides accommodation for couples wishing to explore this peninsula, just 15 minutes drive from Inverness. The Black Isle is renowned for its unspoilt beaches, fishing villages and sightings of bottle-nosed dolphins that are regularly spotted close to the shore. The 14th century cathedral at Fortrose, the winding lanes of Cromary, with its old courthouse and museum and regular boat trips to view the sea life all add to the charm of the area. Shops and pubs 50 yards.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with tiled floor. 1 double bedroom. Shower room with toilet.

Economy 7 CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. DVD. CD. Elec cooker. M/wave. W/machine. Shared lawned garden with sitting-out area and furniture. Parking (1 car). No smoking.

1st comment: Small, compact, excellent shower room, nice garden area, on Black Isle bus route. Sept 2011.

2nd comment: We found the property just right for the two of us. It had everything you needed for a holiday. I took the likes of washing up liquid, washing gel and hand gel for use but it was all there for you. July 2011.

3rd comment: Cottage was very clean, comfortable and well equipped, small but perfectly formed! The owner was very welcoming and helpful. A great base for exploring the Black Isle and area around Loch Ness. Within easy reach of Inverness and its fine restaurants. June 2011.

5th comment: The location in a small and very friendly village, was central to many amenities and tourist attractions. The cottage was small but contained nearly everything for a short stay. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this location. July 2010.

7th comment: Munlochy is an excellent centre for touring a vast area of some of the most beautiful parts of Scotland, Inverness and the Great Glen, Glen Affric, the North West Highlands, not forgetting the Black Isle itself. March 2009.
