This area of Fife is ideal for exploring St Andrews and the East Neuk fishing villages and it is less than an hour\\\'s drive to Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth if you want to tour further afield. The beach is close by with water sports available in Elie just 5 miles away. Golf courses are in abundance - there are 45 in Fife all within easy reach. There are many lovely walks with superb views - 10 minutes walk to Fife Coastal Path and some nearby Woodland Trust properties. There are several National Trust properties in the area and many other places of historic interest. Upper Largo village has a grocery shop for essentials, a post office and a hotel with a popular restaurant. One mile away is Lundin Links where there are more shops. Eating out opportunities are plentiful - the area is famous for its fish and the Pittenweem fish shop has been voted best in Scotland.
