Killin is often described as the most picturesque village in Scotland with the magnificent 'Falls of Dochart' flowing through the heart of the village and on the edge of the first Scottish 'National Park'. There is a good choice of shops, hotels and restaurants as well as a play park, putting green, bowling green and many interesting and picturesque short walks. The area offers an abundance of outdoor activities including sailing, watersports, hill walking, cycling, golf, fishing, riding and winter sports. There are many places of interest within an easy drive, including Glencoe, The Trossachs, Blair Drummond Safari Park, Perth and Oban.
