Close by Duntrune are historic settlements like Tealing, Monikie and Murroes.This family house set in eight acres of lawn and woodland with panoramic views over the river Tay & St Andrews Bay.

The Elegant drawing room opens into the study and there is free circulation between all the rooms on the ground floor. The setting, ambiance, adaptability and accessibility of this historic house make it an ideal Venue for a variety of occasions. This is a no smoking establishment and only 5 miles NE of the Dundee City centre. Duntrune House is a 4 Star Visit Scotland rated Bed & Breakfast.

Road and rail links to all areas of Scotland are favourable allowing you to make day excursions to castles, whiskey trails, antique trails, glens of Angus, Forfar, Kirriemuir, (birth place of Sir J M Barrie, author of Peter Pan) and Perth, the gateway to the Highlands. Just a few miles along the coast are Arbroath, home of the famous ?smokie?, cliffs, bird watching and the Abbey. For golfers, Carnoustie is only 15 minutes drive while the St Andrews Links is only a 30 minute drive.

Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow can be reached by train or use park and ride allowing you the whole day in the city without the hassle of trying to find parking. At the heart of the Duntrune Experience is a warm welcome from your bed and breakfast hosts Barrie and Olwyn Jack who have lovingly brought this elegant historic house back to a family home. Designed by the Scottish architect William Burn and built in 1826 for the descendants of David Graham of Duntrune, cousin of John Graham of Claverhouse (Bonnie Dundee), this listed country house is set in eight acres of lawn and woodland five miles North East of Dundee.

All rooms face south and command views over the Tay Estuary to the Kingdom of Fife and St Andrews Bay.
