Shandwick Bay is located within the seaboard villages of Shandwick and Balintore. The extensive sandy beach has dunes behind it and rocky areas to the North and the South. There is a charming harbour in Balintore to the North.

Considered one of the best beaches in Scotland with its long sandy crescent of beach facing South East. Unlike other Highland beaches further north, this beach is less cut off with Shanwick and Balintore right on the beach.

Access is easy and walking lovely.
