Castle Lachlan
An original castle dated back to the C13th with a replacement in 15th that is now ruinous and close to present castle built in the C18th and is the seat of Clan Maclachlan. Part of the castle is available for rent.
The modern house was originally in a Queen Anne but was transformed into a Scottish Baronial style in the C19th. Part of the house is available as holiday rent. A few minutes walk is the ivy clad old castle beside Loch Fyne which is a superbly romantic ruin in a wonderful position.
