Inshoch Castle

Ruin of Z Plan towerhouse to the north of Inverness that fell into decay around early 18th century and now is now a romantic ruin. Located beside farm buildings


One of a number of Hay castles that were either destroyed or fell into disrepair. The castle is now ruinous with much of stonework taken for other buildings as was the custom of the time.
