Customer Reviews of The Coach House, Ratho, nr Edinburgh

1st comment: Very comfortable & well presented cottage. lovely location, good base for visiting surrounding areas & connections to Edinburgh (suggest using the park & ride from the airport). A visit to the Bridge Inn is a must, very welcoming, try the pork it’s first class. March 2012.

2nd comment: Very quiet location and ideal for walks and day trips out. Animals on the property which was a lovely interest for the 2 year old with us. Would like basic cleaning materials to be included to be able to clean and tidy as we go, including tea towels. Recycling guide to be included (our holidays always include lots of bottles!). March 2012.

3rd comment: Lovely private cottage in excellent location. Friendly staff and owner. Bus ride into Edinburgh cheap and easy ans about 50 minutes in duration would definitely recommend. A meal at the Bridge Inn is a must, plenty of short - long walks available nearby. Highly recommended. Excellent showers and comfortable beds. March 2012.

4th comment: A perfect place to stay. Quiet location with short distance to travel for excellent days out. Cottage was well equipped and very warm. The owners were on holiday but they had people on hand at their house who could not have been more hospitable and helpful. I have already suggested this place to several work collegues. Feb 2012.

Once our next years holiday dates are confirmed we will be booking for next year. Aug 2010.

15th Comment Well appointed. Nicely furnished and some pretty personal touches. May 2010.

16th Comment It was perfect. The setting in the grounds of Ratho Hall was beautiful and quite secluded with squirrels & rabbits and of course Christopher the Donkey and Lucky the Shetland Pony. The cottage it’s self was lovely with plenty of room. It was spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. Rachel & Graham made us very welcome. We will certainly book again when visiting Edinburgh. April 2010.

17th Comment The location was excellent, you had everything you needed and more. It was very clean and comfortable, and the log fire was just out of this world. We would recommend it to anyone. It was that nice, we have booked it again for next year. Also the owners where so friendly. March 2010.
