Approximately 10 minutes walk from the stunning unspoilt sandy beach, this is an ideal base for both relaxing and active family holidays. Visitors can enjoy lovely walks, wildlife watching, fishing and surfing. Pony trekking, golf and swimming are also available nearby. The coastline combines spectacular cliff top scenery with rocky coves and sandy bays whilst inland there are river valleys, moors and hills. Day trips could include Durness, Tongue and John O' Groats. A fascinating day trip to the Orkney Islands would be enjoyed by all the family. There are plenty of eating places nearby and the local inn is 1 mile. Shop 3 miles, Bettyhill 15mins, Thurso 25mins.
