Customer Reviews of Alba Ben View, nr Fort William - Sleeps 4

1st comment: We really enjoyed our stay at Alba Ben View. When the weather is good the view is stunning. It was also useful having the (friendly) owners on hand next door. Dec 2011. 2nd comment: This cottage is a real home from home with everything that you could possibly want, it is spotlessly clean. The views to Ben Nevis are amazing. It was in a central position for Ben Nevis, kayaking on the lochs and general sight seeing. We would love to return, for our children the tree swing was the attraction, for us it was the fantastic hot tub and sauna. Owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. Oct 2011. 3rd comment: The location of this cottage was superb, fantastic views of the Ben Nevis Range. It was quiet without being too isolated. April 2011. 4th comment: Very friendly and efficient welcome from owners - loved the hot tub and sauna. Jan 2011. 5th comment: Alba Ben View was an amazing place to stay, all the information on the website was correct and the owners went out of their way to help us settle in, Eric and Jo had loads of information on the local and surrounding area which helped me and the missus decide what to do, we had a fantastic holiday and we would go back again anytime. Oct 2010. 6th comment: Accommodation was excellent. It was quiet and relaxing and the views were beautiful. What made the holiday even more special was the owners had installed a hot tub and sauna which we could use when we wanted. Sept 2010. 7th comment: The view was wonderful. It was clean and comfortable. Aug 2010. 8th comment: We liked the amazing views. Aug 2010. 9th comment: Well located with great views. Cottage was well laid out and equipped. Aug 2010. 10th comment: The photos in the brochure/website do not do the property justice. Dec 2009. 11th Comment Outstanding views from living area windows. Excellent construction ensures that the elements are kept at bay. Very cosy, perfect for hillwalkers. Feb 2008. 12th Comment Views from cottage magnificent, great location to be based from, will definitely consider going back and will recommend to others. March 2008. 13th Comment Excellent friendly welcome. Good, clean and well appointed cottage with beautiful views. Feb 2009. 14th Comment The views as shown on the photos on the website do not do them justice, you will be amazed by the mountain views every morning when you open the curtains! March 2009. 15th Comment It is quite isolated about one mile from the village, and transport/trekking is necessary. That is a plus feature because it is very quiet, attracts many birds and small mammals to the garden, has uninterrupted views across the Glen to the Ben Nevis range (people on the summit can been seen with binoculars/telescope) and the only building in view is an old cowshed (or other farm building), and no roads except the lane it’s on. May 2009. 16th Comment We were very pleased with the accommodation, the views were fantastic. The owners were both welcoming and very friendly and helpful. I would recommend their property to other people. May 2008. 17th Comment The owners of the cottage went out of their way to make the holiday a success. The kitchen was so well equipped that there was no need to eat out. The views were spectacular and we would highly recommend it. It was a very good area to stay in. Aug 2008. 18th Comment Couldn’t fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the owner and they seemed to have thought of pretty much everything in terms of bits and pieces holidaymakers might need. The views were amazing...even when it was tipping down! June 2008.
