Close to the centre of Edinburgh, yet boasting a quiet location, this attractive and spacious ground floor holiday apartment is set back from busy Canongate, and approached by a small, secure, shared garden with shrubs and trees. Part of an old brewery conversion amidst beautiful landscaped gardens, including the gardens of Canongate Kirk, it is surrounded by the fascinating Old Town, with many shops and restaurants. Within just a few minutes’ walk are Holyrood Palace and Holyrood Abbey. North Bridge, Prince’s Street and Edinburgh Castle are just a 10-minute walk. Border country easily accessible. Shops 20 yards.

1st comment: Good neighbourhood, 100 yds off the Royal Mile Good local shops and many eateries. News Agent 200 yds up Royal Mile sells general provisions. 10 mins away a Tesco Express. Nearest bus stop is direct to Royal Yacht Brittania. June 2012.

3rd comment: Wonderful location and lovely property. Once closed in for the night you would not realise you were in the middle of a city. Ideally located for all Edinburgh attractions. Great to park the car up for the week and walk / bus everywhere. So many things to do will have to come back again. Best cottage we have stayed in so far, a real home from home feel to the place.
