In a unique waterside location, enjoying diverse views across the docklands to the Royal Yacht Britannia and Firth of Forth beyond, this luxurious apartment is part of a contemporary development. The charming interior is light and bright and each room is beautifully presented to offer a very smart and attractive holiday home. There is secure underground parking with elevator access to the apartment and entry phone system. An unusual feature is the communal enclosed garden, which is nicely cultivated with benches for sitting out.

Ocean Drive is just a few minutes walk from Ocean Terminal which has excellent shopping, a selection of contemporary bars and restaurants, some overlooking the Royal Yacht Britannia, and a cinema complex. The cosmopolitan Leith Shore with its trendy wine / cafe bars and renowned restaurants is a short stroll away and for recreation, there is a leisure centre and swimming pool. Princes St is 2 miles and there is an excellent public transport service day and night.

Master double bedroom with en-suite shower-room, double bedroom, stylish lounge/dining room with door to small balcony, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath. Cooking by gas hob/electric oven, gas central heating. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, Freeview television, DVD, CD player, docking station. Bed linen and towels provided.

"Great week"

Very good service. The apartment was 1st class in every way. We loved the location - great views across the old docks - plenty of good wining & dining within easy walking distance. We did not dislike anything - our big like was to leave our car in the secure carpark (all week) and use the excellent public transport system.

"An excellent stay in Edinburgh in an excellent location."

Having keys sent and not having to collect them from an office was very convenient but keys gave rise to the only negative in terms of service and that was the provision of only one set. Two of us were occupying the flat and on three occasions we went our separate ways. Fortunately neither of us required the car and so the set of keys was left in the vehicle to be accessed by the first to return. Two sets of keys would have been far more convenient and would suggest this be offered in the future. That apart, the flat was excellent. It was clean, warm and very comfortable with good views of the waterfront at Leith and the coastline beyond. Having a designated parking space was also a great benefit. It was a pleasure not having to think about parking. The location was ideal with regular bus services to different parts of the city only minutes away. For those who like walking the Water of Leith walkway was also very close. Using this path it took only 50 minutes to walk to the Botanic Gardens. Ocean Terminal was within easy walking distance as were numerous pubs and restaurants including Martin Wishart and Tom Kitchen. Overall we were very impressed by both the flat and its location and would have no hesitation in booking again- but hopefully with two sets of keys provided?!
