Tolquhon Castle

Stunning Castle in Grampian Highlands. Built in the late 1580's this Castle is surrounded with picturesque Gardens. Open all year round. 

 


Built by William Forbes in the late 1500's, this castle is located in Aberdeenshire.  

Preston Tower was the original building built in the earlly 15th century before being extended to become Tolquhon Castle. Designed mainly for show instead of Defence.

Preston Tower is on the east of the Castle with the main enterance facing the North, with a walled Courtyard.

Drive off the A920 and the Castle is on the left as you come on to the B999, just past Pitmedden.
