Customer Reviews of The Coyles Cottage, Ballater - Sleeps 4

st comment: The cottage was very quiet but within walking distance of the town centre. The conservatory was an excellent addition and useful for pets to stay in (during cooler periods as it does get hot). More details of the directions would have been helpful. I found the main Coyles House easily enough but the Coyles Cottage did not have a sign outside it. May 2012.

nd comment: This is a warm and well appointed cottage in a a very good location for walking and driving trips. Walking distance to all shops and restaurants in Ballater. Access to walks from the cottage easy too. April 2012.

rd comment: Nice cottage, but the living room needs rearranging to make it cosy. Jan 2012.

th comment: The cottage is wonderful! Very comfortable and perfect for touring the area. Clean, everything you would require and a lovely sun room which is perfect for the dog! Garden is also totally secure which was reassuring for us taking our first holiday with our 7 month old Lab! Would highly recommend! Oct 2011.

th comment: The cottage was well equipped & was in a quiet area. Ballater was a lovely place with lots of places to eat so we didn’t have to go far in the evening. Lots of good walks in the surrounding area with beautiful landscape. Would definitely go again. May 2011.

th comment: A very comfortable cottage, near shops. Lots of walks. Per friendly. We only had a weekend stay but were very pleased with the cottage. Very peaceful setting with the enclosed garden. April 2011.

th comment: Accommodation is very comfortable and the conservatory was wonderful for our dogs, as was the garden. Ballater is an ideal place for walkers as there are lots of places to go on foot, but if you want to tour further afield, it is not the best base to choose as, unless you want to be Aberdeen way, it is an hour driving on winding, hilly roads before you get on to a main road. March 2011.

th comment: Accommodation was of a very high standard - furnishings, flooring, linen and towels. All electrical appliances were well maintained and spotlessly clean. While the cottage was centrally located in the village, within easy walking distance for all shops and amenities, it was still very peaceful with the conservatory overlooking the garden an ideal place to "chill out". July 2010.

th comment: Loved the sunlounge, which doubled as a bike store and drying room! Cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Great location - close to village centre yet quiet and secluded. July 2010.
