Customer Reviews of Glenrothay, nr Aviemore - Sleeps 4

st comment: The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable - about 10 minutes from the village centre by the railway underpass, and located in a quiet estate. Jan 2012.

nd comment: Very well appointed cottage in an ideal location close to town centre with great views of the mountains. There is so much to do in Aviemore for all. Rothiemurchus Estate was good for fishing, clay pidgeon shooting and Loch An eilan (suggest you get discount card if going to Rothiemurchus). July 2011.

rd comment: The seats and beds were of a very comfortable nature, which is often a thing that lets other accommodation of this type down. Feb 2011.

th comment: Clean, in order, attention to the details. Feb 2011.

th comment: With a toddler it was nice, it was all on one level, did not have to worry about falling down stairs. Jan 2011.

th comment: Cosy and well furnished. Dec 2010.

th comment: The living room was so big for the children and so cosy, it was a great cottage. Oct 2010.

th comment: The property felt like a home from home. Sept 2010.

th comment: The cottage was well appointed with good clean accommodation. Good location. The little touches of a welcome tray on arrival, DVDs & games for any wet days! Lots of info on local shops and activities. We would certainly book again. Aug 2010.

th comment: This was one of the best we have ever stayed in, clean, warm, basics in the fridge on arrival most welcome. The location with Aviemore 7min walk - top marks. May 2010.

th Comment The accommodation was clean and well presented. April 2010.

th Comment The property was well kept, clean and very well fitted out. All in all an excellent property. Feb 2010.

th Comment Neatly laid out, very clean and tidy, all mod cons, telly picture good enough for BBC news and weather but we were for warned by website so we brought DVD. Oct 2009.

th Comment The caretaker could not have done more to help us. The weather was very cold upon arrival, and we arrived to find the heating on and a pint of milk in the fridge. Very considerate and much appreciated. The only downside of the property was the television. In the visitors book, the poor quality of the TV and the fact that it only receives two channels has been commented on for the past three years! A TV with a few more channels and in working order would have benefited the property greatly! Dec 2009.

th Comment Aviemore is a beautiful place, this was our third visit. Used other self catering accommodation before but this was the perfect home from home. Everything we needed. Will definitely book this property again. Someone complained previously about the tv signal but we didn’t go on holiday to watch tv. Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival - perfect after a long journey. Oct 2009.

th Comment Modern comfortable furniture. Excellent base for more activities than we had time to do. Could walk into town to have dinner/drink. Very clean and milk, tea and biscuits provided on arrival, so we were able to have a drink after a very long drive, before tackling shopping. Very thoughtful. Excellent service from key holder thank you. Aug 2009.
