Somewhat renowned bookshop, part of the larger Logie Steading site. Who doesn't love to browse for a few minutes through a well stocked bookshop?

Strong in all the areas that interest regulars and that bring visitors to this lovely part of the world, Logie Steading Bookshop has a very wide range of books for sale. Week in and week out, customers tell us how amazed they are to find such a big and well-stocked bookshop, offering such a wide range of titles in what they consider to be such an unlikely and out-of-the-way place. Many of the shop's customers make a special trip to view its current stock on their annual holiday in Scotland, whilst regulars come from near and far, making frequent visits to the bookshop and cafe part of their social round.

There is a wide range of paperback fiction and bays of books priced at £1 and £2 outside the shop for bargain-hunters. But most returning customers come to check out their favourite specialist sections or to bring along friends to introduce them to the wide variety of fine books. Subjects covered include local and general Scottish history, food and drink, travel, mountaineering, natural history and gardening, aviation, maritime, military and sporting books. One of our strengths is that you never know what you might find on our shelves! We have a children's section and enjoy seeing children sitting down for a browse and entering the world of imagination.
